Privacy Policy
Effective date:
Schoolstation Services, LLC (“Schoolstation,” “we,” or “us”) operates schoolstation.com. This policy explains how we handle personal information associated with our public website, inquiries, related email communications, and event scheduling.
This policy covers the public marketing website and related communications. It does not replace agreements or notices governing an authenticated Schoolstation product or information processed for a school or district through that product.
Information we collect
When you contact us by email or telephone, we receive the information you share, such as your name, work email address, school or organization, product interests, and message.
When you book a meeting, we receive the information you enter into the scheduling form, your selected meeting details, and related correspondence.
Website delivery and security involve technical information that may include IP addresses, browser or device information, requested pages, and request times. IP addresses and similar identifiers are not necessarily anonymous.
Please do not submit student records, employee evaluation records, health information, passwords, or other sensitive records in public website communications.
How we use information
We use information to respond to inquiries, discuss our products, understand product interests, and manage related follow-up. We also use information to operate and protect the website, diagnose problems, understand website performance, comply with legal obligations, and protect rights and safety.
Schoolstation does not sell personal information collected through its public website or disclose it for cross-context behavioral advertising. Schoolstation does not use personal information collected through public website inquiries to train its own AI models.
Cookies, analytics, and security tools
Scheduling services may use cookies or browser storage under their own privacy notices. Your browser may also store technical information needed to deliver the website. You can manage cookies and website storage through your browser settings.
We may use analytics services to understand website usage, evaluate performance, and improve our website. Depending on the services enabled, these tools may collect technical information such as IP addresses, browser and device characteristics, pages visited, approximate geographic location, and website interactions.
Global Privacy Control (GPC) is a browser-based signal expressing a preference to opt out of certain uses of personal information, including its sale or sharing for targeted advertising. Schoolstation does not sell personal information collected through this website or share it for cross-context behavioral advertising. Accordingly, there is currently no sale or advertising-related sharing for a GPC signal to opt out of.
Service providers
We use service providers for hosting, email delivery, scheduling, analytics, and protection against abuse. Information is provided to these services as needed to perform those functions.
Our event page includes an embedded Cal.com scheduling calendar and a link to that service. Loading the calendar can connect your browser to Cal.com before you book. Booking information is processed through the scheduling service and connected calendar. See Cal.com’s Privacy Policy. Other linked services may have their own privacy notices.
We may disclose information when required by law, in response to lawful requests, or when reasonably necessary to protect rights and safety.
Retention and security
We retain business inquiries and related correspondence for as long as reasonably necessary to respond to requests, maintain business relationships, preserve appropriate business records, and comply with applicable legal obligations. You may contact privacy@schoolstation.com to request deletion, subject to applicable legal requirements and exceptions.
We retain website operational and security logs for periods reasonably necessary to operate, maintain, and protect the website, investigate incidents, and comply with applicable legal obligations. Retention periods may vary based on the type of record and the services involved.
We use safeguards intended to protect information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure.
Your choices and requests
You can choose not to contact us. Without the relevant contact information, we may be unable to respond.
You can unsubscribe from promotional and informational marketing emails using the unsubscribe link in those messages. You can also contact privacy@schoolstation.com for help. Unsubscribing from marketing does not prevent communications needed to respond to a request or administer an existing service relationship. We may retain minimal information needed to honor your marketing preferences.
Contact privacy@schoolstation.com to ask about information associated with this website or request access, correction, or deletion. We may need information reasonably necessary to verify your identity and locate your records. We will review your request and respond in accordance with applicable law, including any applicable retention requirements or exceptions.
Requests concerning school or district records within a Schoolstation product are handled under the relevant agreement and authorization process.
Children and location
This website is directed to educators, administrators, and other adult school buyers in the United States. It is not intended to collect information directly from children under 13. If you believe a child has submitted personal information through this website, contact privacy@schoolstation.com so we can review and address it.
A United States audience does not mean that every service provider processes information exclusively in the United States.
Changes and contact
We will post an updated policy and effective date when this policy changes and provide additional notice when required by law.
